Last friday the facade of project RKM won the Deutsche Metallbaupreis Fassaden 2021 and we are very proud to have been part of this prestigious project. We did the 3D-model for fabrication of all unique curved sheet panels of the outer skin. Several media showed high interest in our research project shelters made out of paper which tried to develop building components and adequate construction typologies for building temporary housing out of paper. This prooves that we are on the right track and confirms us to go further with developing building components made out of paper. During our work on HSS project our client Schindler FENSTER + FASSADEN asked if it is possible to use our BIM model to show the current status of each element in an easy way during meetings.
