Rhino7 brings the technology of Rhino.Inside to a total new level and will help us in our daily business a lot, looking really forward to work with it! As you might know we developed already some tools for intereaction between Rhino and Revit for our project HSS in Kopenhagen (Rhino2Revit). We haven't checked out all the new features yet but what we know so far Rhino.Inside.Revit will make it more simply to directly interact and exchange data between Revit and Rhino.
During our work on HSS project our client Schindler FENSTER + FASSADEN asked if it is possible to use our BIM model to show the current status of each element in an easy way during meetings. So we developed a small tool to do so: Each element gets additional custom phasing attribute status that can be set to different predefined values. These attribute then defines the display colour of the element in viewer to easily grasp the status of the project: in design (yellow) in pro
For one of our projects we were asked to deliver a native Revit BIM-Model of a facade. To be able to make use of the flexibility of Rhino3D and all our already custom developed plugins we developed a new toolset that allows us to easily transfer 3D-Objects, Attributes and other specifications like materials and transformations to Revit without Breaking Revit Elements hierarchy. First we developed some smaller tools to speed up the creation of 3D-Facade-Elements as linked exte
